Republican hopeful Dr. Ben Carson announced John’s appointment to his Medical Professional Coalition. John is the only psychologist on Dr. Carson’s Coalition.

A federal judge in Kentucky ruled in John’s favor in his First Amendment lawsuit against the Kentucky Psychology Board that had attempted to force John to stop publishing his column in Kentucky newspapers, including the Lexington Herald-Leader.
